Five Minute Friday - AFTER

We've barely had time to unpack (not to mention go through all my photos!) and we have a house full... family gathering both from the North and from the South... so it will be one crazy packed house - with a lot of crazy fun unfolding around here! I was hit and miss at the #FMFParty last night but decided this morning that the laundry and vacuuming and somewhat toddler-proofing can wait. (Can that ever actually happen anyway?)  But not the coffee... never the coffee!

First - the fine print if you don't know what FMF is!  Five Minute Fridays are hosted by Lisa Jo Baker.  It is open to anyone, so to learn more about it - and to jump in yourself (the more the merrier!) or just to find a linky to see what everyone is writing about today - click HERE!  The idea is to simply write... for Five Minutes flat... no editing, no deep thinking - or at least REthinking, no spell check - just write! Let it flow! We all write using a prompt that Lisa posts at one minute past midnight Friday morning (EST.)  I'm loving the community of amazing bloggers and the creativity that flows from these magical Five Minutes!

So - here goes: Five Minute Friday - AFTER...

{GO}

We just got home from California... a fast short trip where we got to spend Easter Sunday hanging out all day long at Bethel church.  I had been before... everyone else with me had not.  We will all go back.

I had been praying for an encounter... a life changing, intimacy-level-altering, hunger-stirring event to insure that we would never be the same.  Isn't it just like that Lord that even with that - it must be mixed with faith.  I didn't SEE it... not at first.  Really - it is still unfolding and I suspect it will continue to do so from here on out.

No - I wanted a physical manifestation - an outward sign... a glory cloud... something!

I am a 'feeler' and while being at Bethel was A.MAZ.zing - and I could definitely 'feel' God there - when I most felt the rush of wings, the heavy warmth of Presence, the crowded space of our outdoors shift - was in the Gardens... as we held hands - and began to pray!  We were by the Sun Dial bridge in Redding, when we asked a friend to pray over our girls...

The moment I laid a hand on a back - Swoosh... He was there!  We prayed over each girl to walk in all He has for them... Serafin prophesied over them and it was quick and simple and powerful and precious.  We all said Amen... then he prayed over Dave and I ... and we all prayed over him. All in the span of maybe 5 minutes... maybe.

But oh how I could feel the joy it brought to our Father.

Family - together - Speaking Life, Being Love, Shining Brightly... out in the open... Yes - in the Garden in the cool of the day!

The AFTER is what blessed me most... and it was the first of the unfolding... not more than 15 minutes later... after walking around and under the bridge - we came across this:

Yep - that is our girls... putting into action what was just prayed over them... they were drawn to this woman and started a conversation with her (or she, them - actually!) and they prayed and prophesied over her.

Bam! Activation!

More Lord... let's just keep on living in the More... in the After!

{STOP}
